The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine's Small Animal Primary Care practice space, opening next year, is raising funds to purchase a new ultrasound machine. Currently known as Community Practice, the service provides essential veterinary educational skills, giving students hands-on clinical experience alongside experienced faculty and staff.
An ultrasound machine, a critical diagnostic tool, allows students to gain hands-on experience with and become familiar with imaging technology they will rely on throughout their veterinary careers. Training on this equipment as students ensures they graduate ready to confidently use ultrasound in their future practices.
Donations will help students further develop the skills to become practice-ready veterinarians.
